THE W GALLERY FEATURE ARTIST
Deanna Dionne
Profile
Jewelry Designer: Deanna Dionne
Location: Cleveland, Ohio U.S.A.
Experience: 1 Year
Materials: Found broken auto glass, resin, copper, and silver components.
Influences: All of my pieces are made from glass left over from car break-ins. I drive around the city and look for piles of broken glass left in the streets, which I use to create one-of-a-kind necklaces, earrings, and rings. I'm continually fascinated by this material and always expanding my ideas of what I can do with it.
Connect: Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Website
Deanna Dionne grew up in Michigan, as the daughter of a sculptor and a novelist. In 2014 she moved to a warehouse studio in Cleveland, Ohio, to have space to pursue art interests more fully. Within two years she launched Cleveland Street Glass, jewelry made from the glass of car break-ins. When not working on her own art and jewelry, she loves designing products, illustrations, websites, and marketing materials for startups, makers, and companies.
